At re:generation we have Pod Groups, which are pastoral groups within the Church. Pods are primarily in existence to make sure each member of the Church is happy, that they feel they have someone to talk to (that being their Pod Leader) if they are not in or in addition to accountability, and that they are growing in their faith in Christ Jesus. They can also share and express ways in which the Church can meet their needs better and share with any ideas that they have to help the Church develop; things from outreach events to unique prayer methods to new clubs, if they find it easier to speak to a peer about it.
Pods are also there to aid in the establishing and development of new or existing friendships within the Church. Pods are encouraged to meet up outside of Church life, such as going for a meal together, going bowling or going ice skating. A friendship is a fantastic way to help lead someone to Jesus and our Pod groups can assist in this. Inviting non-Christian or un-Churched friends to your pod's social events can help break down barriers between Christians and non-Christians and help new people get to know some of the members of the Church. This is just the beginning - hopefully things will grow and the person will show an interest in the Church, come along, discover Jesus and then find their salvation in Him

Every fifth Sunday of the month, the Pods will rotate in hosting the service. Each pod will take it in turns to cook a meal for the whole Church, set up the Church for the meal, share testimonies and also introduce a guest speaker if we have one.
